One of the most defining aspects of my time at Princeton Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women has been the mentorship I’ve received. As a first-generation engineering student, I didn’t know what to expect, but the guidance from my professors and mentors has been a game-changer in my journey.
At Princeton, mentorship goes beyond academics. My mentors helped me find my path, from suggesting career options to guiding me through challenging coursework. But it doesn’t stop there—they also gave me insights into industry trends, research opportunities, and how to network effectively in a male-dominated field.
Being part of a women-centric institution has also given me the chance to connect with successful female engineers and tech entrepreneurs who have walked the path I am now on. Their stories have been incredibly motivating and have encouraged me to aim higher.
Thanks to the mentorship program at Princeton, I feel more confident and prepared to enter the engineering world. It’s clear that mentorship isn’t just about teaching; it’s about investing in the future of students and women in tech.
